Release Notes – Ksatria Medical Systems – Q2 – 2023

In Ksatria, we are fully committed to do continuous development to increase functionality, adhere to government regulations, and to catch up with the updates of the government software, such as from BPJS. We also intend to accommodate inputs and requests from our clients to introduce new features or improve existing features, for maximum experience in using Ksatria eHospital.

In this article, we will provide detailed information about the latest release of Ksatria eHospital, that was launched at the end of the second quarter (Q2) of 2023. The article aims to provide a comprehensive overview of the latest Ksatria eHospital release, including new and enhanced features, as well as bugs and issues from previous releases that have been addressed in the Ksatria eHospital Q2 2023 version.

These features include tariff management, patient billing, patient profiles, registration, Mobile National Health Insurance (Mobile JKN, online-based registration for BPJS), analytics, dashboards, emergency, and diagnostic support. Additionally, there are enhancements in the outpatient, inpatient, intensive care, operating room, delivery room, system configuration modules, and more. This release also introduces several new modules and features that will improve KMS’s usability.

Below are the details each feature and its explanations in the Ksatria Medical System (KMS) Information Release Notes for Q2 2023:

1. Tariff Management

  • Tariff Packages: A new feature allowing users to create tariff packages and manage the items within them. This includes the export and import processes for the packages.

2. Patient Billing

  • Tariff Packages: Management of tariff packages within patient billing, with the ability to manage items within the packages.
  • Non-Patient Billing: This feature enables creating invoices for entities other than patients, including the payment processes.
  • Invoice Merging: The process of merging two or more invoices into one for streamlined administrative processing.
  • Receipt Merging: Capability to merge two or more receipts into a single entity, aiding payment tracking.

3. Patient Profiles

  • Patient Profile Merging: Users can merge duplicate profiles for the same patient, avoiding data duplication.
  • External Patient Profile Transfer: Users can transfer external patient profiles into regular patients within the system.
  • Patient Activation/Inactivation: Ability to activate and deactivate patient status within the system.
  • Unknown Patients: This feature enables the creation of data for unidentified patients and the merging with valid patient profiles.
  • General Consent: Creation of general consent forms with electronic signatures for administrative purposes.

4. Registration

  • Patient Search with Barcode: Users can search for patient data by scanning a barcode during registration.
  • Patient Appointment Confirmation: Converting patient appointment status to registration when the patients show up on the scheduled date.
  • New Patient Creation During Registration: Creating new patient profiles during the registration process.
  • Medical Fee and Review Cost: Adding medical fee and review costs features to the registration process.
  • Duplicate Registration Warning: Providing a warning when users attempt to register a patient for the same service and doctor on the same day.

5. Mobile JKN

  • Feature Updates: Updating Mobile JKN features to catch up with the changes in the Mobile JKN system from the government.

6. Analytics

  • Addition and Modification of Reports: Introducing new reports and updating existing reports for improved performance monitoring.

7. Dashboards

  • Feature Updates: Updating several dashboards to enhance overall performance monitoring.

8. Emergency Services

  • Patient Consent: Creating patient consent forms with electronic signatures as part of emergency records.

9. Diagnostic Support

  • Patient Consent: Creating patient consent forms with electronic signatures for diagnostic support processes.

10. Outpatient

  • Examination Screen Updates: Updating screen displays for several outpatient services to manage specific data.
  • Package Rates: Allowing users to add tariff packages to Medical Fee and manage the items within the packages.
  • Review Cost: Introducing a Review Cost feature to monitor the charged items during treatment.
  • Copy Examination Data: Allowing users to copy examination data from previous visits.

11. Inpatient, Intensive Care, Delivery Rooms, Operating Rooms

  • Patient Consent: Creating patient consent forms with electronic signatures for each module: inpatient, intensive care, delivery room, and operating theatre.
  • Birth Certificate: Adding birth certificate creation feature for the delivery room and operating theatre modules.

12. Catalogue

  • Screen Updates: Updating the screen display to manage additional data within the Catalog module.
  • Stock Transaction and Billing Rounding: Rounding the quantity of stock transacted to inventory and billed to invoices.
  • Automatic Compound Prescription Calculation: Automatically calculating the required stock quantity for compound prescriptions.

13. Inventory

  • Pharmacy Retail Process Integration: Integrating pharmacy retail processes with stock management.
  • Stock Expiration Data Integration: Integrating issuance and return processes with stock expiration data.
  • Multilayered Approval for Inventory Transfer: Modifying the inventory transfer flow (transfer order) to allow stratified approval.

14. System Configuration

  • User Access Configuration: Setting user access and permissions through roles in account configuration.
  • Service Configuration Update: Updating service configuration to set examination screen display and bed category mapping.
  • Medical Support Configuration Update: Updating medical support configuration to manage normal and critical value data.
  • Patient Billing Configuration Update: Updating patient billing configuration to set non-patient invoice numbering.

15. General

  • Technical Updates: Updating the Java and Angular technical platforms to maintain application stability.

16. Identified Bugs and Limitations

  • No known bugs or issues in this release during the testing of the KMS eHospital 2023 system.
