EMR – One of the Innovations in Health Technology Transformation

Teknologi RME

The Health Ministry of Republic of Indonesia has encouraged biotechnology-based innovation and started a program called the Biomedical and Genome Science Initiative (BGSi). This program is aimed to gather data from all over healthcare providers across Indonesia that can be used as a reference to diagnose patient’s disease, improve the effectiveness of treatments, and develop precise medicine methods. The program is aligned with one of the six pillars of Health Technology Transformation in Indonesia. To enable data integration between hospitals, clinics and other healthcare providers, they must have a cloud-based system of Electronic Medical Record (EMR).

Additionally, Permenkes No. 24 year 2022 requires healthcare facilities in Indonesia to implement EMR. This undoubtedly forces healthcare facilities to have a cloud-based EMR.

To support this program, Ksatria Medical Systems has built an EMR feature to store patients’ examination data, that will be integrated with Satu Sehat application.

The EMR in Ksatria Medical Systems is designed to be comprehensive and inclusive, allowing various health professionals to enter the medical record data. Information on previous visits and medical history is readily available. Diagnoses are codified using internationally recognized ICD 10 standards, ensuring seamless integration.

Our Hospital Information System (HIS) is a cloud-based application, enabling the healthcare facilities to integrate their patient data with the government’s ‘One Health’ (Satu Sehat) program.
